Sir John pioneered in-flight film processing and scanning for near real-time image transmission from satellites and aircraft, the application of Video for Real-Time Space and airborne Reconnaissance and Mapping, and for Traffic Control and Remote Site Monitoring. He Conceived and participated in the implementation of the National Programs of the United States and of Italy for Utilization of Ultrasonics for Medical Diagnosis. He is listed in many editions of Who's Who and the Royal Blue Book. Multilingual and Extensively published, he is the recipient of numerous honorary awards for his numerous public services.
