Purchasing Maintenance and Inventory Management for Complex Facilities |
Facility and enterprise maintenance is one of the larger controllable recurrent cost items of a large facility -- as well as a major factor in employee and customer relations. We automate facility maintenance management, or upgrade your existing automation, with potential large savings in labor, inventory, regulatory and insurance issues, and preparedness.
You can realize major cost savings with a payback of one year when you install our systems.
Preventive maintenance
--with both strict and flexible schedules, depending on the need.
Unscheduled maintenance and Trouble Calls
--with varying degrees of urgency.
In-the-Field Work Order Creation and Tracking
--Using Hand-Held Units, Bar Coding.
--Using telephone and radio voice response.
Anticipatory maintenance
--when you know that a snowstorm, or the President, is coming.
Regulatory and insurance-driven inspections and maintenance
--When you can't operate unless certain actions are taken on-time.
--When the Legal Department needs all historical records of a location.
Material Management: Inventory Control, Purchasing, Capital Items, Receiving, Optimal Ordering and Parts Distribution
--Including EOQ analysis and cost accounting.
--Including multiple Warehouse Management
Facility Information System
--Integrated graphic touch-screen and point-and-click Graphical Information Systems which allow a user to identify and locate every component in a complex facility: security information, fire-control information, equipment, piping, and simple how to get there. Tied to maintenance records as well as CAD-CAM drawings, GPS vehicle location and other subsystems
...As well as links to payroll and subcontractor billing, extensions to touch-tone remote entry and bar-coding of equipment.
The system consists of several interlocking software subsystems operating on a client-server network, and a sophisticated relational database with about 1000 fields, prepared by us, and managed by our client. The system is upward compatible with many different architectures.
Technically CAMS is a client-server environment adaptable to most Local Area Networks, and operating through ordinary Windows Desktop machines and with existing servers. Multilevel security allows each user to have read or write access to only those data reuired for his or her work, while supervisors have complete control.
CAMS is fully ODBC and Y-2000 compliant, and special queries and analyses (such as failure rates and cost pattern analyses) can be run without disturbing the operational software or databases.
CAMS can be interfaced with modern ODS (Operational Data System) software, and on-line data warehouses.
In fact CAMS with its management, procurement, iventory and maintenance systems can become the starting point of an Enterprise Distributed Data Warehouse System,
Your people run the system, with no more computer training than simple word processing skills.
We design, install, set up the data, teach, turn over, and stand by to help.
Our system works with single-site facilities or networks for large or multiple-site enterprises, can pick up from existing maintenance databases, and can be interfaced with your MIS.
TechServ takes full responsibility for integrating our system with yours, with loading the databases, training and 24-hour support.
We have hands-on expertise in every skill area of facility maintenance and operations.
Our people have built, installed and managed maintenance automation in one of the world's most complicated multisite facilities, and are currently doing this for an international airport. The basic software has about 17,000 users.
Our team has a 27-year history of exemplary performance in maintenance, operations and data systems for government and industry.
